RCA TO MEET AT HISTORICAL SOCIETY
The public is invited to attend the next meeting of the Rockville Community Alliance (RCA), which will be held on Tuesday, March 28th at 7:00 pm at the Vernon Historical Society building at 734 Hartford Turnpike (Route 30) in Vernon, Connecticut.*
The RCA is a service oriented organization which is always seeking ways to bring people and organizations together through local events and rediscovering local history.
President, Benjamin Klimczak announced that the topic of this meeting will be: “What happened to the 44 steps? Downtown isn’t what it used to be.” – to be presented by a member of the Vernon Historical Society. Come hear about the history of Rockville – or relive some of it if you grew up here – the Historical Society has a wealth of knowledge and artifacts regarding the story of Rockville.
This meeting is open to all, there is no fee, and light refreshments will be served.
*The Society’s museum and the meeting hall are in the former Vernon Grange building. The Society is open every Thursday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm and on the second and fourth Sundays of every month from 2pm to 4pm.
